Movie Review: KL Zombi (Zizan Razak)

Hey Hey Hey! Walaupun penyakit malas masih menguasai diri tapi rasanya macam rugi laaa tak review cite Malaysia kite ni. *cite The Conjuring dgn Percy Jackson tgk hari tu pun tak rasa nak review2 lagi* Tapi takpe, cite Malaysia akan di dahulukan kerana saya anak Malaysia. Dahhh start merepek dahhh... -_-

Okay2.. semalam berlangsungnya Gala Premier KL Zombi bertempat di e@Curve, Damansara. Thanks to Grand Brilliance and of course Nuffnang for giving me a pair of tix to watch this movie. Biasa lah, masa pegi confirm laa terpikir. Best ke takk cite ni. Harap2 Zizan best lah. Takut2 kalau jalan cite hampeh ke, at least kalau lawak Zizan menjadi, ok laa jugak. Hehe. *typical Malay mindset sbb dah terkena cite x best byk kali* o_O

Sampai2 jek dah nampak staff2 KL Zombi ramai kat lounge Cathay Cineplax tu. Yang tak boleh blah tetiba pulakkk ada Zombi2 muka ketat berkeliaran. Perghhh.. Cuak jugak Mak Jemah tgk2. Damn! Hahah. Terlari2 jugak la terkejut tgk muka dorg. Then nampak Zaliff Sidek n Azwan Melodi pun ada kat situ. Ouh, gambar x diambil sebagai prove sbb saya x suka bergambar. Apa laaa blogger x suka amek pic kan. Pelik kan. Nak wat camnooo.. T_T. Nanti2 try laa ubah habit ni. Tulis blog takde pic2 menarik mcm hapeee je kan. Borrinnggggg. Haha =p

Yang menariknya juga, tetiba nampak manager Zizan iaitu Marina Juki kalau x silap time tgh nak beli air, then pastu nampak Zizan kua bersama2 zombi dari preview lounge. Muka Zizan masa tu mcm ponattt jek. Byk keje ye bang. Hehe. Takpe. Siann. Nasib cite lu best. Keke =p

Sinopsis

KL Zombi merupakan kisah 5 sekawan yg mempunyai cita-cita dan harapan tersendiri. Namun semua nya menjadi porak peranda apabila munculnya sejenis wabak bahaya yang menukarkan manusia menjadi dan merebak di sekitar Kuala Lumpur, 

Watak utamanya, Nipis (Zizan Razak) terpaksa bertarung nyawa demi menyelamatkan diri dan rakan-rakannya dari dijangkiti wabak berkenaan setelah ibu dan kakak kembarnya ( Izara Aishah) telah dijangkiti virus tersebut.

Review

Jalan cerita yg agak kemas sebab boleh nampak flow cerita dari awal sampai habis. Cerita tak lompat2 lah maksudnya. Di awal cerita, pengarah memperkenalkan barisan pelakon kiranya dimana 5 sekawan melepak menunggu bunga api new year. Scene ni actually macam simbolik yg menunjukkan kehidupan normal seseorg bergembira di tahun baru dgn azam yg baru dan mengimpikan kehidupan yg lebih baik akan datang. Namun, ada kejadian yg berlaku pada mlm tersebut yg mengubah segala-segalanya. Eceyhhh. Lagi satu! Ada sebab kenapa makanan favourite Zizan iaitu Char Kueteow a.k.a Kueteow basah diperkenalkan di awal cerita. He he he. (ni kalau pengarah dorg baca confirm dpt score 10/10 ni) =p

Konflik bermula pada keesokan harinya apabila Alif (Zain Hami) dan Ana (Izara Aishah) tetiba mengalami kejadian pelik menimpa diri mereka. Kejadian tu merebak dan meng huru hara kan keadaan. Satu-satunya org yg paling tenang masa tu adalah Zizan lah a.k.a Nipis. Sebabnya dia tak perasan lagi apa yg sedang berlaku pada masa tu. Mungkin dia bodoh sikit barangkali. Haha. Tapi memang banyakkkkk scene yg lawak time dia x perasaan tu. 

Jadi, sy boleh katakan lakonan Zizan memang menjadi dalam filem ni. Lawaknya menjadi. Sebelum pertengahan cerita, byk part2 yg sy gelak sampai sakit perut. Serious tak tipu. A full credit to Zizan for that. ;)

Mula dari pertengahan cerita, kurang sikit gelak tapi still ada part2 yg kelakar. Bila keadaan menjadi huru-hara, zombi semakin mengganas memang nampak macam agak bosan tapi nasib ada keadaan2 yg kelakar yg menyelamatkan cerita. Contohnya tetiba ibu Nipis menelefon dikala saat2 genting dan Nipis sgt2 sedih apabila ibunya diserang zombi saat itu. Kesedihan Nipis itu mcm sebagai "trigger" lah utk dia membalas dendam untuk ibu dan kakak kembarnya. Haaa. =D

Di saat kekalutan tu lah, Nipis mengenali Siti Saleha (tak igt nama dlm filem, hehe). Dimana mereka bersembunyi bersama beberapa org rakan yg lain yg masih selamat. Sambil mencari penawar untuk memulihkan org yg dijangkiti wabak tersebut. 

Mungkin boleh dikatakan part yg paling kurang menarik adalah semasa penawar sudah dijumpai dan cara mereka menyembuhkan org ramai. Haha. Part tu boleh diterima tapi maybe segolongan penonton akan pikir mcm "err apa ni?". But for me it's fine. I enjoy myself watching it because it made me laugh. LOL

Terdapat jugak aksi2 Zizan menumbangkan zombi2 dlm cite ni. Of course laa ada part yg kelakar tak serupa bikin tapi ada part dimana Zizan betul2 beraksi yg nampak style jugak laaa. Ouh! kredit juga diberikan pada scene2 aksi sebab tak nampak fake. Memang nampak mcm betul2 bagiii. Hehe. Kredit 1 lagi sy berikan masa awal2 cerita scene mat rempit kacau zizan. Hahahah. Itu memang betul2 lawak!

Apa yg off nye dalam cerita ni, yg sy perasan ada part2 yg di cut. Walaupun tak bagi effect sgt, meaning kita still faham bila tgk n ada setengah org maybe tak perasan pun, tapi still mcm a bit off kat situ. Hmm. Dan 1 lagu seperti dah mention kat atas, scene dorg menyelamatkan KL. Haha.

Konklusinya, untuk filem yg bergenre ringan2 mcm ni, agak berjaya jugak cerita ni sebab above expectation. Sape2 bosan n nak saksikan komedi n aksi ringan boleh tgk movie ni next week okayh. Sape yg suka dan rinduuuuu gle dgn lawak2 Zizan, anda dinasihatkan utk tengok. Kepada peminat2 Zizan rasanya akan puas hati jugak dgn cite ni. Kalau haters tuu...mungkin adalah menda boleh di isukan. Haha. I'm sooo neutral n I like this movie in its own way. Since cite ni above my expectation, therefore I should give my credit towards this movie. secara jujur, sy tak rasa menyesal tengok. =)

Lasttttly, I would rate this movie untukkk kategori filem yg ringan ye dan santai2 dengan 3.5/5

Mencari Ramli "Man. United" 2

Hello Hello Hello..

Lamanya tak update blog ni..Lindu nyee...Hehe.. (macam laa follower ramai khenn, pui!). Alright, hari ni kentalkan azam untuk update at least 1 entry. Kesian dah berhabuk dah my dearie bloggie. Huhuuuu ='(

Okayy..alright..ikutkan macam2 cerita boleh di blog kan sebab macam2 barang baru dibeli untuk di review kan..ngeh ngeh. Disebabkan diri ini peminat bola sepak jugak sikit2..(sikit je, tak banyak) Jadi hari ni nak cakap pasal Ramli. 

Haa? Sape Ramli tu? Anak sape? Hehehe.. Kalau anda semua perasan dulu2 kat tv ada 1 iklan TM ni dulu pasal Ramli dan Kelab Bola Sepak Manchester United. Ingat tak? Tak ingaattt?? Okay, cer tgk video kat bawah ni kejap. Teheee

Haaa...does it ring a bell?? ;)

Jadi, 'follow-up' dari TVC (iklan) di atas, Telekom Malaysia (TM) - Man. United telah mengadakan 1 program untuk mencari pelapis bola sepak negara kita, Malaysia untuk digilap bakatnya dan menjadi pemain bola sepak tersohor bertaraf antarabangsa.

Inilah pemenang program Mencari Ramli Musim 1 =D

Jadi....pada tahun ini, Mencari Ramli Musim Ke-2 kembali!!

Mencari Ramli 2

Dengan kejayaan program Mencari Ramli Musim Pertama, dimana 3 pemenang dipilih. 2 pemenang terpilih melalui undian juri dan seorg pemenang melalui undian penonton tv. 2 pemenang telah diserapkan dalam Skuad Harimau Muda Bawah-21 dan seorg lagi finalis mendapat tempat sebagai 'striker' di US Arezzo Football Club bawah 17 tahun. 

Selain tu, mereka juga memenangi trip ke Manchester United Soccer School dan trip ke Old Trafford (perghhhh..bestnyeeeee T_T ) dan lagi, mereka mendapat biasiswa selama 3 tahun di Frenz United Football Academy.

Audition

Audition pencarian Ramli 2 ni sebenarnya telah bermula Februari lalu dan lokasi pertama nya adalah di Jitra, Kedah. Kemudian diteruskan di Perak, Penang, Pahang, Terengganu, Johor, Kelantan, KL, Sabah, Melaka, dan akhir sekali Sarawak.

Audition di Sarawak akan bermula pada 18 May hingga 20 May 2013 di Padang B Petrajaya Kuching. Jadi orang Kuching, apa lagi? cepat2 lah bawak anak-anak anda, anak-anak saudara ke, adik ke pergi audition MR2 ni nanti. Rugi kalau tak cuba. Serioussslyyy rugi. Hehe

Konsep program

MR2 ni merupakan program bersiri berkonsepkan dokumentari+realiti yg mencari bakat pemain bola sepak Malaysia terbaik bawah 16 tahun. Mereka akan dihantar ke Manchester United Soccer School untuk di 'trained' dan digilap bakatnya utk menjadi "Ramli".

Objektif program

1. Menyediakan 'platform' utk pemain muda sepak untuk merealisasikan impian mereka.

2. Meningkatkan standard bakat pemain muda bola sepak tempatan.

3. Supaya ibu bapa melihat potensi dalam diri anak-anak dan menyokong pembabitan mereka sepenuhnya.

4. Untuk meningkatkan semangat Team Malaysia melalui program realiti ini.

Kriteria Ramli yg dicari

Remaja warganegara Malaysia yg berumur bawah 16 tahun yg sangat berbakat dan 'skilled' mcm Christiano Ronaldo (ngeh ngeh, psl CR tu saje2 tmbah sendiri =p ). Seorg yg boleh bekerja dlm berkumpulan ( a team player), dan mempunyai 'attitude' yg bagus serta semangat bermain bola sepak yg tinggi. (Passion is the must babeyh)

*MR2 mencari pemain yg PALING berbakat (the most talented player, he could be the best goal keeper, the best defender, the best midfielder, or the best striker)*

Jangan lupa saksikan program Mencari Ramli Musim Ke-2 setiap minggu pada hari Jumaat, pukul 7.30 ptg, bermula 19 April 2013, hanya diiiii..... TV3 ^_^

**Akhir sekali, sy nak kongsilah "Ramli" impian saya. Saya harap the next Ramli seorg pemain midfield yg sangat berbakat yg boleh juga boleh berfungsi sebagai striker dan defender pada masa yg diperlukan. Dia juga mesti mempunyai stamina dan semangat yang tinggi, kena lari laju (ngehee),dan fizikal nye mestilah tinggi dan mempunyai badan yg 'fit' (kelass gitewww =p ). Saya percaya negara kita mempunyai bakat yg macam ni, cuma kita je yg tak sedar. Hehe.

Majulah sukan untuk negara dan jgn lupa utk saksikan Mencari Ramli 2 di TV3!! Tataaa!~

Movie Review: The Last Exorcism 2

Hello, another update of a movie review here. Thanks to Nuffnang for giving me this tix and thanks to Cathay Cineplax e@Curve for providing us with yummy snacks! (2 sets of cola n caramel popcorn completes the deal!) *wink*

So, this screening was scheduled on 11 March 2012 but because of some technical error, it was postponed to 15 March. So, thanks to a friend of mine who bravely accompany me watching this horror movie last Friday. What's the point of being a man then, if he didn't dare to watch a horror film??  o_O *but he's really a coward, turning his head away all the time from the screen* HEH! =_="

My review

Hurmm.....................unlike my previous movie review on The Call, I am kinda clueless and speechless actually on how to review this movie. Hehe. The story started when Nell is found and she is returned to a normal life after the event of the first movie. Nell is taken to a shelter for troubled girls and diagnosed as a delusional victim of cult abuse. She's progressing really well and started to have a life just like any other normal girls.

Until suddenly she fell in love with Chris and after he confessed his love to her, then suddenly lotsa strange things happen. The plot is kinda slow and maybe the script want to raise a question to the audience to think whether the evil thing is really exist or she's just nuts!

But evil thing does exist and it wants her. Like, badly. That thing wants to own her. So, just like any other typical horror film, there must be someone who's trying to help, isn't it? But sadly she cannot do it alone as the evil spirit is so strong and need helps. She contacted a team of exorcist and they did their best trying to help Nell.

Like I said before, the plot is slow and boring and sometimes illogical. Not to mention, sometimes I can't even understand the plot. I was thinking, maybe because I didn't watch the original movie, The Last Exorcism (part 1). Maybe it's my own mistake for not understanding the story line beforehand. But I believe, if this movie is a really good piece, then I will enjoy it no matter what. But sadly, I didn't. 

I think the ending had a lil twist. Since the title is The Last Exorcism (part 2 sumore), we might think that no more exorcism after this, Nell will be free, save and sound. But seems like it's another way around. ;)

My opinion

If you watched The Last Exorcism before, you can give this sequel a try and decide whether this sequel is relevant or not. LOL. And what can I say is that, I really really miss a good piece of American horror movie which I haven't get to see for years already.

Movie Review: The Call (Halle Berry)

Hi Hi Hi! Actually I really miss my blog. Really. Yea I know my last update was only 3 days ago. But I already feel like something's missing when I didn't up with any entry during this period. I'm busy with my first job right now. That's why. Hurm. :( Forget bout that, let's go forward with my blog title!

So, thanks to Nuffnang again! And also Nusantara Edaran Film for giving me a pair of free tix for The Call special screening at GSC Tropicana CIty Mall. I brought my older brother along to the screening yesterday (13 March) as he was like "woww, I wanna watch this movie!" after he take a look at the trailer beforehand. Heh. :p

This new movie of Halle Berry's is actually scores mixed reviews among American medias. But who cares, this is my review! Okay, let's move on to the synopsis of the story first. ;)

Synopsis

A veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry) takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl Casey (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted and is in the boot of an unfamiliar car. With no tracking device on her prepaid phone she must work with Jordan to find effective ways to save her own life on their own.

My review

Oh my god, I'm sorry I couldn't provide a detailed review on this movie right now because I'm mentally and physically exhausted. But I can tell you that, this story provides a really good story line. I was completely immersed in that film, straightly for 90 minutes. It started with a strong-nerve-wracking situation, the story whereby Jordan received an emergency call from a girl saying that a stranger is trying to break into her house. The girl end up with a sad and tragic death which make Jordan felt shocked and guilty.

The story then jump into 6 months later where Jordan suddenly had to deal with the same situation *once again*. What more? The kidnapper is the same person! This is where the real story begins between Casey, Jordan, and the kidnapper. While watching the movie, I was like "damn youuu! psycho, lunatic kidnapper, go to hell!!" *hah*  The interesting part is how Jordan control the intense-crazy situation and need to deal with a teenage girl who absolutely will get a panic attack in such situation. *not to mention, Jordan herself was damn panic at that time* o_O

Another interesting part is when the police found the kidnapper's house. He actually has a wife with 2 children and having a normal life with his family. The wife was absolutely clueless about her husband's "activity". Small scenes like this colorized the content of the story. Even though the movie is running for 90 minutes only, it feels so packed. *in a good way*

However, everything is not perfect, isn't it? I don't really like the ending btw. But don't get me wrong, the ending is still good because of the 'twist'. But for me, they still need to add something after the 'twist'. Hehe. I won't tell you exactly what it is. You need to watch it yourself. :p

My opinion
I love this movie. Like I said, I was really immersed in that film for the whole screening time. So did everyone else in that theater yesterday *i believe* This movie gives a tense, extreme thriller and works damn well. The two main character, Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin gave an excellent acting in this movie. *clapclap* Suddenly I adore Halle Berry. Hehe.

Ouh, btw, you will hear this line a lot in this movie, "911 What is your emergency" *hehe* and my favorite line is when Jordan said "We are Capricorns, we are fighters!" *because I'm a Capricorn too. LOL*

Lastly, I give The Call a recommendation. It's worth to watch in the cinema. I think you won't waste your money buying a tix if you choose this movie. Hehe. Take a look at the trailer below, basically the trailer already gives the full idea of the story ;)

I would rate this movie with 4.5/5

Nuffnang 6th Birthday Bash ~ What a BOMB night!!

WARNING: This is gonna be a lengthyyyyyyy entry.

I've been going here and there for this past few days. From Kedah to Cyber to KL to Batu Pahat to Cyber.

Last night we're in Batu Pahat and today back in Cyberjaya already. Energy drained. Spastic nyo muko den. *pic not related to the title..tettt*

So...Finally.......I'll be able to write about Nuffnang's fantastic birthday celebration which was held last Saturday at LUST, KL. Pheww~

As I've been mentioned several times oledi, I'm a newbie and such a noob in blogging world as well as in Nuffnang world. HuHe. I was worried at first because I don't know anyone there. The only person that I know is my friend a.k.a my partner for that night, Sarah. LOL.

However, actually I was just wasting my time by worrying too much. All bloggers were soooo friendly. All of them! Not to mention, all top bloggers are sooo cool!! It was such a pleasure to meet them. ;)

I was so lucky then being able to have a small conversation with her and she kindly introduced me with some 'otai' bloggers. Thumbs up to the gorgeous Kak Red!!

Ouh btw, balloons that filling all spaces there are not ordinary balloons.*ceyh ayat*. It got our name on it! On the Digi cards that being taped together with the balloons. It's so hard to find my name. It took a lot of hard work.LOL. Semua adik2 Digi dikerah mencari so that I could bring it home. At last! Found it! Heee :D

My last drinks before heading home. It's non-alcoholic n halal btw. ;)

Nuffnang 6th Birthday Bash - Me Got Invited!

Wuhuuuuu~~

Thank you sooo much NUFFNANG !! Love you so much! Well, yesterday an email from Nuffnang popped into my inbox saying that I got invited for Nuffnang's 6th Birthday Bash. Weeee~ I guess I'm so lucky! XD

I haven't decide yet what clothes I wanna wear, how I'm gonna do my hair, which whom I gonna go with. Since I can bring my partner along, I'm not sure who I should go with.*inilah masalah org takde boipren* Hurmmmm...well...... *pk sambil kunyah Skittles*..... Maybe I should ask my older brother to go together-gether, or maybe I just drag my friend a.k.a my lil brother. He's in need of socializing, perhaps he might find a new girlfriend there. Kihkih. =) *hopefully he doesn't has any show to do this weekend* . Another thing that I'm worry about is my facial skin.. ='( *hukhuk* My skin was badly damaged due to allergies of choosing the wrong product last 2 months and now my face is still full with acne scars. Adoii.. very depressing lah! Okay, okay don't let this problem spoil my mood.

Happy 6th Birthday, Nuffnang!

It’s only been a month since I started blogging and joining Nuffnang.  I think I’m like their cutie new born baby. Kekeke. Well, obviously I am a noob in this blogging world and I’m grateful that Nuffnang and Nuffnanggers have been a great help to people like me. Why am I saying so? When I have anything that I’m curious about, just send a ticket to them and they will answer it within a just short in time! Same goes to the Nuffnangers, they provide us with good infos and tips on blogging in their entries. When we leave a comment and asking them something that we’re not clear enough, they will always reply with good answers =)

Yesterday I’ve received an email from Nuffnang regarding their 6^th Birthday Bash Party. Woa, I think it sounds so cooollll. I don’t even know that this kind of exciting event being conducted by Nuffnang every year. Btw, Happy Becoming 6^th Birthday Nuffnang!! *clap clap*.  

After doing some reading on nuffnanggers’ entries regarding this event on previous years, I know that a lot of benefits we can gain by joining this birthday partayy. Since we will gonna meet top bloggers and also nuffies, we’ll be able to ask them for some tips or even asking for ideas to be a better blogger. It’s like learning while having fun!! Sounds exciting, isn’t it? ;)

Sooooo..in order to get the invitations for the partay, what we have to do is to follow these simple steps provided by Nuffnang HERE. Andddd Nuffnang want us to share our favourite music album. Yeayy!! I’ve always been a great fan of music! (just look at my previous entries, most of them are music and entertainment related..hehe =p ).

Why I love this album and why this album is my all-time favourite?

1. "Fiction" song and the MV is like a masterpiece. The song and the idea of the MV is brilliant. Just take a look at their MV and the lyrics, together with the sad melody, plus with a unique dance routine. Everything is amazing!

2."On Rainy Days" is another great song! Still a sad song, even though they're a pop group but they can sing ballad really well. Their live singing is daebak! (damn good). And you can feel the sadness when they deliver the song. They're such a professional!

3. "You" makes me smile whenever I listen to it. I feel happy while listening to it. That song makes me feel like I wanna sing it when I found someone that I like. Hehe ;p

4. Overall, I love this album as there is a mixture between pop dance as well as ballad songs. It suits me very well as I'm a fan of both genres. For me, this album is a perfect album and I really really really adore their voice. =)

Haih, I have so many favourite songs! I'm so confused right now which songs that I’m gonna include in my playlist. Since I’m a purely Asian-hearted person *heh*, I’m gonna choose Korean song as well as Malaysian songs. =D But I really have a hard time choosing the best 5 tracks. I really like Beast and G.NA but I guess it’s unfair if I don’t include Malaysian songs as well. @_@ I hope they will pick me and my playlist will be featured in the DJ’s playlist!! *DJ putarkanlah playlist saya….lalala* credit to VIP - Lagu Sedih .
