Last weekend I was hovering around Alamanda Mall to buy some stuff and also saje jalan-jalan buang masa. Then my friend and I decided to watch a movie and we chose 2 Guns. I hope it's not too late to review this movie as the released date was last week on 19 September. ;)

Review
This is gonna be a very quick review. Hope it helps. For overall performance, this movie is entertaining enough to make you feel worth spending some money to watch this at the cinema. I do feel like something is lacking in the story line but it's not a big deal I guess. The action is ok and the comedy is alright. The two main characters in this movie, Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg played their role well. They work well together and we can feel their chemistry. As we can predict through the poster, this movie is about a buddy comedy story.
To sum it up, I wouldn't say that this movie is wowww enough but it's still in the list of some good movies that you can watch in your spare time. It's funny though!

Biasa lah, masa pegi confirm laa terpikir. Best ke takk cite ni. Harap2 Zizan best lah. Takut2 kalau jalan cite hampeh ke, at least kalau lawak Zizan menjadi, ok laa jugak. Hehe. *typical Malay mindset sbb dah terkena cite x best byk kali* o_O
Sampai2 jek dah nampak staff2 KL Zombi ramai kat lounge Cathay Cineplax tu. Yang tak boleh blah tetiba pulakkk ada Zombi2 muka ketat berkeliaran. Perghhh.. Cuak jugak Mak Jemah tgk2. Damn! Hahah. Terlari2 jugak la terkejut tgk muka dorg. Then nampak Zaliff Sidek n Azwan Melodi pun ada kat situ. Ouh, gambar x diambil sebagai prove sbb saya x suka bergambar. Apa laaa blogger x suka amek pic kan. Pelik kan. Nak wat camnooo.. T_T. Nanti2 try laa ubah habit ni. Tulis blog takde pic2 menarik mcm hapeee je kan. Borrinnggggg. Haha =p
Yang menariknya juga, tetiba nampak manager Zizan iaitu Marina Juki kalau x silap time tgh nak beli air, then pastu nampak Zizan kua bersama2 zombi dari preview lounge. Muka Zizan masa tu mcm ponattt jek. Byk keje ye bang. Hehe. Takpe. Siann. Nasib cite lu best. Keke =p

Review
Jalan cerita yg agak kemas sebab boleh nampak flow cerita dari awal sampai habis. Cerita tak lompat2 lah maksudnya. Di awal cerita, pengarah memperkenalkan barisan pelakon kiranya dimana 5 sekawan melepak menunggu bunga api new year. Scene ni actually macam simbolik yg menunjukkan kehidupan normal seseorg bergembira di tahun baru dgn azam yg baru dan mengimpikan kehidupan yg lebih baik akan datang. Namun, ada kejadian yg berlaku pada mlm tersebut yg mengubah segala-segalanya. Eceyhhh. Lagi satu! Ada sebab kenapa makanan favourite Zizan iaitu Char Kueteow a.k.a Kueteow basah diperkenalkan di awal cerita. He he he. (ni kalau pengarah dorg baca confirm dpt score 10/10 ni) =p
Konflik bermula pada keesokan harinya apabila Alif (Zain Hami) dan Ana (Izara Aishah) tetiba mengalami kejadian pelik menimpa diri mereka. Kejadian tu merebak dan meng huru hara kan keadaan. Satu-satunya org yg paling tenang masa tu adalah Zizan lah a.k.a Nipis. Sebabnya dia tak perasan lagi apa yg sedang berlaku pada masa tu. Mungkin dia bodoh sikit barangkali. Haha. Tapi memang banyakkkkk scene yg lawak time dia x perasaan tu.
Jadi, sy boleh katakan lakonan Zizan memang menjadi dalam filem ni. Lawaknya menjadi. Sebelum pertengahan cerita, byk part2 yg sy gelak sampai sakit perut. Serious tak tipu. A full credit to Zizan for that. ;)
Mula dari pertengahan cerita, kurang sikit gelak tapi still ada part2 yg kelakar. Bila keadaan menjadi huru-hara, zombi semakin mengganas memang nampak macam agak bosan tapi nasib ada keadaan2 yg kelakar yg menyelamatkan cerita. Contohnya tetiba ibu Nipis menelefon dikala saat2 genting dan Nipis sgt2 sedih apabila ibunya diserang zombi saat itu. Kesedihan Nipis itu mcm sebagai "trigger" lah utk dia membalas dendam untuk ibu dan kakak kembarnya. Haaa. =D
Di saat kekalutan tu lah, Nipis mengenali Siti Saleha (tak igt nama dlm filem, hehe). Dimana mereka bersembunyi bersama beberapa org rakan yg lain yg masih selamat. Sambil mencari penawar untuk memulihkan org yg dijangkiti wabak tersebut.
Mungkin boleh dikatakan part yg paling kurang menarik adalah semasa penawar sudah dijumpai dan cara mereka menyembuhkan org ramai. Haha. Part tu boleh diterima tapi maybe segolongan penonton akan pikir mcm "err apa ni?". But for me it's fine. I enjoy myself watching it because it made me laugh. LOL
Terdapat jugak aksi2 Zizan menumbangkan zombi2 dlm cite ni. Of course laa ada part yg kelakar tak serupa bikin tapi ada part dimana Zizan betul2 beraksi yg nampak style jugak laaa. Ouh! kredit juga diberikan pada scene2 aksi sebab tak nampak fake. Memang nampak mcm betul2 bagiii. Hehe. Kredit 1 lagi sy berikan masa awal2 cerita scene mat rempit kacau zizan. Hahahah. Itu memang betul2 lawak!
Apa yg off nye dalam cerita ni, yg sy perasan ada part2 yg di cut. Walaupun tak bagi effect sgt, meaning kita still faham bila tgk n ada setengah org maybe tak perasan pun, tapi still mcm a bit off kat situ. Hmm. Dan 1 lagu seperti dah mention kat atas, scene dorg menyelamatkan KL. Haha.
Konklusinya, untuk filem yg bergenre ringan2 mcm ni, agak berjaya jugak cerita ni sebab above expectation. Sape2 bosan n nak saksikan komedi n aksi ringan boleh tgk movie ni next week okayh. Sape yg suka dan rinduuuuu gle dgn lawak2 Zizan, anda dinasihatkan utk tengok. Kepada peminat2 Zizan rasanya akan puas hati jugak dgn cite ni. Kalau haters tuu...mungkin adalah menda boleh di isukan. Haha. I'm sooo neutral n I like this movie in its own way. Since cite ni above my expectation, therefore I should give my credit towards this movie. secara jujur, sy tak rasa menyesal tengok. =)

Yeszaa kembali lagi dengan movie review.. Kali ini cerita Melayu pulak. Encik rakan mengajak diri ini untuk menonton Fast & Furious 6. Tapi biasa lah cerita baru keluar, semua slot haruslah full kannn. Bikers Kental je yang macam menarik untuk di tengok. Itu pun tinggal front seat je. =.=" . So tawakal jela harap2 cerita ni best. (Bukan tak tengok movie melayu tapi selalu jugak laa terkena dapat cite yg ntah apa2 even Zizan n Johan jadi tunjang utama, betul tak?)

Sejujurnya mula-mula ingat cerita ni macam tak best je bila tengok trailer nye. Bila tengok tajuk pula, sure org pikir citer pasal mat rempit kan. Tapi sebenarnya tak. Citer ni pasal geng motorbike. Of course laa ada idea yg merapu, cite komedi kan. Tapi idea yg merapu tu lawaknya memang menjadi. So sgt2 not bad lah ini celita.
Zizan mcm biasa lah dgn wataknya yang bersahaja. Tapi kadang2 memang meluat tgk dia dalam cite ni sbb mat gebang! Mat gebang tu apa? Haa..Orang yg suka cakap besar and bajet bagus. Hahah. Pastu suka buat masalah. Eii geram jek aku tgk ko ni zizang. Watak2 yg lain macam Awie, Zul Ariffin, Harun Salim Bachik okay2 laa. Semua balance. Watak Awie dalam cite ni watak serious tapi di tengah2 cerita ada komedi yang Awie bawakan. Menarik2. Memang kelakar. Haha!
Watak org jahat pulak mild je dalam cite ni. Actually macam takde pun takpe. Tapi dalam semua citer of course lah kena ada konflik. Kalau tak mendatar jela cite nye. Tak gitu? Jadi, watak jahat ditambah untuk konflik yg sangat ringan. Kite layan kan jela konflik tu kan. Ada part yang kelakar lagipun. Hehe.
Untuk komedi nye pulak. Ada part2 yg memang 'masuk air' laaaa. Bagi saya tu something new jugak laa. Hahah. Lawak2. Part si Bidin (Zizan) sedih n touching di awal2 citer sampaikan Eddie (Awie) pergi tanya n pujuk dia. Alasan touching tu mmg ntah pape laa kan. Tak penting langsung. Macam budak2! Haha. Then di tengah citer ada selit pasal komedi yg dibawakan Awie pulak mcm yg dah cakap td tu. Haa ada 1 lagi, scene dimana Zul Ariffin tanya Awie kenapa Awie baik sgt dgn Zizan si kaki gebang tu. Then Awie flashback balik memori dia n ckp dia ada alasan sendiri. Tapi memori Awie tu mmg sgt2 masuk air laa. Hahahah.
Part wanita2 Thailand tu pulak biasa2 je. Agak cliche tapi ok jee. Fun jugak. Memang penambah perisa lah untuk citer ni. Dapat jugak Zizan awek Thai cun sorg. Haha!
Overall, citer ni dalam kategori komedi ringan. Okay jugak untuk sape2 yg nak relieve stress setelah penat bekerja. Eceyhh. Haha. Memang not bad and agak berbaloi untuk ditonton di panggung wayang. Kalau sape2 yg nak tgk Fast 6 tu tapi dah full, boleh la try pulak tengok cite ni. Support our local art sekiranya ianya berbaloi. Pendapat saya, citer ni pun agak berbaloi. Tapi ini hanya pendapat eksklusif saya (haha), kalau tak best jgn marah.
Last but not least, as usual I will rate this movie and I give 4/5. ;)
Halluuuu my bloggie... Been abandoning my dear bloggie for quite a long time already. What to do, I'm kinda busy with my life right now and always dozed off when I get back from work. Then I won't do anything for the whole day (because of tiredness konon, puii) until the time I have to get up and go to work again. Sadly, because I was busy with my schedule, I couldn't make it to the special screening of that movie. My review
Hurmm.. What can I say about this movie? Firstly, it's a science fiction movie. Like 100% totally a sci-fiction. For me, the idea of the story is fresh and unique because this is my first time watching this kind of movie. Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) is assigned with a task to protect the Earth's remaining resources due to catalysmic alien invasion that left the planet uninhabitable. Along with Victoria (Andrea Riseborough), they have to collect enough raw materials from the Earth to ensure humanity's long term survival before they can join the other survivors on Titan (Saturn's largest moon). That is what they were told by their mission commander Sally.
But of course, there was a twist along the journey which makes Jack Harper started to question about his mission. The visual is good and can be classified as a pretty stunning visual. Well, because the Director of the movie is quite well known with his CGI-kind-of-movies. All the characters in the movie also played their roles well. Unfortunately, in my opinion I found this movie is a bit boring because most of the screenplay, I can only see Tom Cruise, Andrea, their commander and the robot. Other characters appear not long after that but still, I feel some emptiness. (=p)
To sum it up, the storyline is fresh, the visual is great, the actors played their characters well, it can be classified as a good sci-fiction movie for the time being BUT this movie is lack of excitement. =)
I would give this movie with....... 3 stars! =D - 3/5

My Review
The beginning of the story shows Melanie being chased by the Seekers and she committed suicide by jumping out from the building. A "Soul" was then being inserted into her body by the Seeker and it's like two souls living in one body, which is Melanie herself and the alien soul called Wanderer. It's a bit boring and slow at the beginning in my opinion as most of the time it's about Melanie's rebellion towards Wander. Wander keep listening to Melanie's voice inside her all the time.
The character development is well created actually. As I said, at the beginning is all about Melanie, Wanda and the Seekers but then other characters came into the frame. Melanie's uncle, Jeb Stryder (William Hurt), her boyfriend Jared Howe (Max Irons), her brother Jamie Stryder (Chandler Cantebury) and a lot others. But of course conflict occurred as Melanie is not Melanie alone. Of course they thought Melanie is already dead and the one in the body is a total alien.
The best part in the movie of course because of those cute guys. Hehe =p . Melanie and Wanda is torn between the affections of two good looking guys. Like Sunshine Coast Daily said, one who loves her for her human mind trapped, the other for her alien counterpart. It does raise some interesting concept about the roll looks play in falling in love.
The actors play the role well and I think they are just suit for the characters they played. The concept for the story mainly focused on love. It obviously shows that Melanie is really struggling to resist the alien invasion in her own head and risks everything in order to protect the loved ones.
It's a love story, a survival story and a sweet story. Kinda worth to watch in the cinema. ;)

My Quick Review
Don't worry if you didn't watch their first movie, *like me* because this sequel can still make you enjoy watching it without making you confused of what is going on. The story line is easy to understand.The actions is okay. Of course some scenes are illogical. But it can be accepted anyways. The plot is nicely captured and the casts play their roll well. Including the Korean Byung Hun Lee, to those who don't know he is the main cast in Iris drama. In this movie, he looks more handsome and cute. He He ;)
Soooo, to sum it up! It's worth to watch this movie in the cinema. So if you're looking for a good movie to watch this weekend, add this movie in your list. Especially if you are a K-Drama lover, finally you can watch Lee Byung Hun in a Hollywood movie! Heheeee.

My review
Everyone is saying that this movie reminds them to Die Hard. I've never watch any of Die Hard movies before so I couldn't compare them. People saying that these two films have a great deal in common which the story line is all about terrorist takes hostages, make outrageous demands and only ONE MAN can put a stop to this. The different is that, the hostages are all the superiors of the United States including the President himself. *woa*
This story is about Mike Banning who is struggling alone to save the President as well as the President's son after the White House is overthrown by a terrorist gang led by a cruel North Korean mastermind (Rick Yuen). * I wonder whether this movie will give a negative impact to the North Korea or not. Hurmm*
The action itself is good, intense, and full with the element of suspense. There's a tension in those scenes as the Hero-Banning moves and roam around within the building in order to save the President and crash the terrorist's plan. The violent attack towards Washington also is effectively staged, from the air attack towards the ground attack until they manages to take over the White House within 13 minutes. And the US armed forces be able to reach the White House only after 15 minutes. *Heh*
OF COURSE from what I stated above, it is extremely illogical and the right word is really unrealistic. How come a small number of terrorists can easily take down the White House after a few minutes??? Yes, the key to watch this movie is that, you have to believe and bare in mind that this kind of thing CAN happen. Only then you can fully enjoy the movie. Even though the questions keep hitting your mind like, "how come??" "is it possible like this??" "how come the US armed forces are so lame??" "tipulaaaahhh" . Haha. Believe me, ignore those questions and enjoy the movie.
Even though there are some lacking here and there but this movie is still entertaining though. But the story is 100% predictable!! Hehe.
My opinion
If you like Die Hard-kind-of movie, then you should try to watch this one. The story is still pretty interesting to watch even though the plot is familiar and the ending is 100% predictable. But the movie does provides a good action movie. ;)

My review
Hurmm.....................unlike my previous movie review on The Call, I am kinda clueless and speechless actually on how to review this movie. Hehe. The story started when Nell is found and she is returned to a normal life after the event of the first movie. Nell is taken to a shelter for troubled girls and diagnosed as a delusional victim of cult abuse. She's progressing really well and started to have a life just like any other normal girls.
Until suddenly she fell in love with Chris and after he confessed his love to her, then suddenly lotsa strange things happen. The plot is kinda slow and maybe the script want to raise a question to the audience to think whether the evil thing is really exist or she's just nuts!
But evil thing does exist and it wants her. Like, badly. That thing wants to own her. So, just like any other typical horror film, there must be someone who's trying to help, isn't it? But sadly she cannot do it alone as the evil spirit is so strong and need helps. She contacted a team of exorcist and they did their best trying to help Nell.
Like I said before, the plot is slow and boring and sometimes illogical. Not to mention, sometimes I can't even understand the plot. I was thinking, maybe because I didn't watch the original movie, The Last Exorcism (part 1). Maybe it's my own mistake for not understanding the story line beforehand. But I believe, if this movie is a really good piece, then I will enjoy it no matter what. But sadly, I didn't.
I think the ending had a lil twist. Since the title is The Last Exorcism (part 2 sumore), we might think that no more exorcism after this, Nell will be free, save and sound. But seems like it's another way around. ;)
My opinion
If you watched The Last Exorcism before, you can give this sequel a try and decide whether this sequel is relevant or not. LOL. And what can I say is that, I really really miss a good piece of American horror movie which I haven't get to see for years already.
Hi Hi Hi! Actually I really miss my blog. Really. Yea I know my last update was only 3 days ago. But I already feel like something's missing when I didn't up with any entry during this period. And also Nusantara Edaran Film for giving me a pair of free tix for The Call special screening at GSC Tropicana CIty Mall. I brought my older brother along to the screening yesterday (13 March) as he was like "woww, I wanna watch this movie!" after he take a look at the trailer beforehand. Heh. :p

This new movie of Halle Berry's is actually scores mixed reviews among American medias. But who cares, this is my review! Okay, let's move on to the synopsis of the story first. ;)
Synopsis
A veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry) takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl Casey (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted and is in the boot of an unfamiliar car. With no tracking device on her prepaid phone she must work with Jordan to find effective ways to save her own life on their own.
My review
Oh my god, I'm sorry I couldn't provide a detailed review on this movie right now because I'm mentally and physically exhausted. But I can tell you that, this story provides a really good story line. I was completely immersed in that film, straightly for 90 minutes. It started with a strong-nerve-wracking situation, the story whereby Jordan received an emergency call from a girl saying that a stranger is trying to break into her house. The girl end up with a sad and tragic death which make Jordan felt shocked and guilty.
The story then jump into 6 months later where Jordan suddenly had to deal with the same situation *once again*. What more? The kidnapper is the same person! This is where the real story begins between Casey, Jordan, and the kidnapper. While watching the movie, I was like "damn youuu! psycho, lunatic kidnapper, go to hell!!" *hah* The interesting part is how Jordan control the intense-crazy situation and need to deal with a teenage girl who absolutely will get a panic attack in such situation. *not to mention, Jordan herself was damn panic at that time* o_O
Another interesting part is when the police found the kidnapper's house. He actually has a wife with 2 children and having a normal life with his family. The wife was absolutely clueless about her husband's "activity". Small scenes like this colorized the content of the story. Even though the movie is running for 90 minutes only, it feels so packed. *in a good way* However, everything is not perfect, isn't it? I don't really like the ending btw. But don't get me wrong, the ending is still good because of the 'twist'. But for me, they still need to add something after the 'twist'. Hehe. I won't tell you exactly what it is. You need to watch it yourself. :p My opinion I love this movie. Like I said, I was really immersed in that film for the whole screening time. So did everyone else in that theater yesterday *i believe* This movie gives a tense, extreme thriller and works damn well. The two main character, Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin gave an excellent acting in this movie. *clapclap* Suddenly I adore Halle Berry. Hehe. Ouh, btw, you will hear this line a lot in this movie, "911 What is your emergency" *hehe* and my favorite line is when Jordan said "We are Capricorns, we are fighters!" *because I'm a Capricorn too. LOL* Lastly, I give The Call a recommendation. It's worth to watch in the cinema. I think you won't waste your money buying a tix if you choose this movie. Hehe. Memandangkan hari ni tak buat pape, kebosanan, takde aktiviti, baru lepas bagi kucing makan, baru lepas angkat call set interview keje next week, sambil tunggu Nuffnang premier screening The Call next week, =.=" Jadi hari ni nak share lah satu cerita drama yg santai, sempoi n kelakar. Actually, jarang jugak laa tengok drama-drama kat tb tu tapi boleh melekat pulak tengok crita ni. Hehe.
Drama ni sangat lively, bila tengok keluar mood ceria. Rasa happyyy je tengok. Haha. Kira ni cite yg ditunggu-tunggu la setiap minggu oleh my mum and I. Abg den pun dah join sekali follow crita ni. Ahakz.
Ada sekali tu dinner terlajak masa. Lepas makan tu lepak2 lah depan tb, pastu macam teringat something, pastu tengok jam, 9.30. Pastu tengok my mum, pastu diri ini terus menjerit, "Umiiiii.....!!! Crita tuuuuuu...!!" . My mum dengan sepantas kilat menjawab jeritanku, "aaaAaaaaaaa.. cepat bukak crita tu.." *masing2 overreacted* kalau dah teringat terus jelah bukak channel tu, sempat lagi main jerit2??
Yang pastinya hari tu dapat tengok crita tu setengah jam jela dek kerana makan dinner tak hengat dunia smpai berejam-jam. *timing lari* . Sedih. =( *macam laa Astro takde ulangan, kat internet pun boleh tengok ape*

Sinopsis
Jodoh
megisahkan seorang jejaka bujang bernama Azlan yang

seorang wanita bernama Katya, akan tetapi disebabkan undian oleh para

Oleh yang demikian, Azlan dipaksa oleh pihak
produksi program untuk tidak menyingkirkan Olly dari program Jodoh dan ini menyebabkan kedua-dua mereka terjebak dalam situasi yang sangat lucu kerana
mereka berdua tidak menyukai antara satu sama lain.

Ermm..what can I say bout this movie. Well, it’s a scary
movie..hehe.. I like the drama at the beginning of the story. The kids are just
toooooo cute.. *melting*
The storyline is an attention-grabbing, we keep asking what
was actually happened to the kids, who was taking care of them during the 5 years
they had been left alone in the forest? For the beginning, quarter, half, and
two thirds of the movie is realllyyyyy absorbing. The strength of the movie
also relies on the great acting by the casts. Lucas, Annabelle, and the kids
(Victoria and Lilly) are playing their character very very well. Well done.
But I don’t really like the ending. For me, it’s kinda
illogical but don’t worry it is still acceptable. ;p So, this movie can be said
as a story that is worth to be watched in the cinema. If you’re thinking of
seeing a horror movie, you can give this a try. Happy watching! =)
If you’re looking for horror movies in Msia cinemas right
now, I guess there are 2 options. 3AM and Mama. I’ve watched both and I’m going
to do a review on Mama in next entry okayh?
I went to watch 3AM with a thought that a thai horror movie
would be damn scary piece. But the mood kinda spoiled when I realized that the
movie is actually contains several different stories that being combined
together in a movie. So there are 3 different stories in that movie.
The first and second part is just like short films with a lil
bit horror elements in it. The third story is in a longer duration and kinda
interesting. I love the third part. It’s funny! Even though there’s so much
twist in that story, but the last twist is kinda unpredictable. And I was
laughing out loud at the end of the story. The last 1 minute is hilarious! :D Till
now I still laugh when I remember about the conversation between the guard and
the policeman.
So, it’s up to you whether wanna watch the movie in the
cinema or you can just download it thru the internet later on. But for me, I don’t
really like watching a movie with a several different stories in it. It kinda
ruined the mood.
